We work hard to make neuroscience easy
We built Neurocern to create the care experience we want for ourselves and our loved ones.

System is broken.

34 million older adults in the U.S. are cognitively impaired – persons with Parkinson’s Disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s Disease, dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, depression and other mental illnesses. Many of them also have other chronic conditions such as diabetes, COPD, or heart disease. They rely on family members and caregivers to help them manage their complex health needs and day-to-day activities.

  • 50% of patients are not diagnosed, and for another 25%, the doctor makes a diagnosis but does not share it with patients and families

  • Even in the case of a known diagnosis, families do not receive the practical guidance they need ongoing for their particular situation.

The consequences are grave for both patients and families. Older patients with major cognitive impairments have three times as many hospitalizations as other adults, many of which could be prevented with better care at home. They also end up being placed in a nursing home or assisting living community prematurely.

How we solve it?

We give you and your loved ones a place to transform their concerns into personalized care. Neurocern built to help you every step of the way.

  • First, it’s important to know what is happening in the person’s brain. Families know their loved one’s best, and are best placed to report on observable symptoms.

  • Caregivers concerns help us get the whole picture, so we can create a care kit just for them.

  • Families are already overwhelmed. And in this case, we offer instant solutions to “my problem today”, not six months from now.
